This information and the regulations about usage refer to the website bridge-meetfood.ch as well as to other platforms (e.g. Facebook) that refer to bridge-zurich.ch (hereinafter referred to jointly as “the Portal”). They are maintained by the legal entity or natural person listed in the Portal’s legal notice (hereinafter referred to as “the Operator”). The information as well as the usage regulations are subject to change at any time. These changes are binding.
Subject to other regulations, the Operator is the owner of the Portal. All brands, names, titles, logos, images, designs, texts and other materials used on this Portal belong to a legal entity of the MCZ or to one of its contractual partners. Browsing, downloading or copying pages does not confer any rights (utilisation, intellectual property rights, etc.) whatsoever. Complete or partial reproduction, transfer (by electronic or other means), modification, linking or use of this portal for public or commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
The Operator excludes any liability (including negligence) arising from accessing or an inability to access the Portal or individual elements of the Portal or relating to the use thereof. No guarantees are made with regard to access to or use of the Portal or the backing up or archiving of transmitted data. The Portal contains links to third-party websites. These sites are neither operated nor monitored by the Operator. The Operator accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the content of these linked sites or for ensuring that their operators comply with the statutory data protection regulations.
The internet is an open network accessible to everyone and thus not generally considered a secure environment. Although individual data packets are generally transferred with encryption, this does not apply to the sender or recipient. Furthermore, it is possible that data may be transferred to another country with less stringent data protection regulations than in Switzerland, even if the sender and recipient are located within Switzerland. The Operator waives all liability with regard to the security of data during transfer over the internet.
A variety of data is saved when accessing the Portal (e.g. your IP address, the date and time of access, the name the of loaded file, etc.). No personal analysis is conducted. Data is evaluated anonymously for statistical purposes, e.g. to determine how often the Portal is accessed on a single day. This data is treated as strictly confidential and not disclosed outside the MCZ or made accessible to other third parties unless required under the applicable law and, in particular, the responsible law enforcement authority. The right to extended data use in accordance with the Operator’s privacy policy (available here) is reserved, provided that the customer expressly agrees to such data use in a separate declaration.
Own services and those of third-party providers, especially Google Analytics and the Facebook “like” function
This website uses MCZ services as well as third-party services (hereinafter referred to together as “Services”), in particular Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., as well as the “like” social networking plugins of Facebook, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Providers”). Such Services collect information and may, in particular, use temporary or permanent cookies, i.e. files (e.g. HTML or Flash cookies) that are stored on your computer (sometimes also beyond the end of the browser session), may possibly be accessed anew during future visits and enable the analysis of your use of the website and surfing behaviour. The information generated through your use of this website (including your surfing behaviour and IP address) may be transmitted to our servers or those of third parties in Switzerland or abroad, where it is stored, processed and may under certain circumstances be associated with you. The MCZ and the Providers can use this information for marketing purposes, i.e. especially to evaluate your use of the website, generate reports about website activities for the MCZ or provide additional Services related to the use of the website or the internet (e.g. displaying personalised, interest-based advertising). This information may also be transmitted to other third parties in Switzerland or abroad. Foreign countries might not have adequate data protection regulations. Depending on the browser and installed software, such data processing (especially the installation of cookies) can only be restricted or prevented to a limited degree. Information on how to manage the relevant data protection and storage settings can be found on your browser software’s website and, in certain cases, on the manufacturer’s website (e.g. the Adobe Systems website for Flash cookies). By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you in the manner and for the purposes described above.
The secure storage of personal data is guaranteed.
The Operator endeavours to keep product labels (ingredients, nutritional information, allergy information, country of production, etc.) and any price details on the Portal up to date, but cannot guarantee this. In particular, in the event of changes to the product, the supplier, etc., different versions of the same product (e.g. different production countries, manufacturers, recipes) may be on sale at the same time at stores and/or online. However, for reasons of practicality, the Operator will usually limit itself to specifying one variant on the Portal. When making a purchase, you should always therefore be sure to note the labelling on the purchased product itself and/or the packaging and any enclosures. These take precedence over the information provided on the Portal and other websites. Unless indicated otherwise, any prices are stated net in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT.
