Bánh mì, the Vietnamese sandwich classic

Image

In Vietnam, bánh mì is the generic term for bread. The French first brought the baguette to Vietnam during the colonial period. The Vietnamese experimented and topped the foreign baguette with local ingredients. Over the years, bánh mì has become an integral part of Vietnamese cuisine.

The two Zurich residents Jan and Ky grew up with Vietnamese cuisine and got to know the various preparation methods, customs and recipes even better on their travels. In Vietnam, people greet each other with the question “Have you eaten yet?”. True to this motto, they share their enthusiasm for Vietnamese food culture and create Far Eastern delicacies with high-quality products.

We look forward to seeing you, Bánh Mì lovers.
