Vanilla Dream is the first swiss vanilla startup and was founded in Zürich.
In addition to quality, sustainability is also an important focus for Vanilla Dream. Vanilla Dream fights for fair payment for vanilla farmers, pre-harvest financing with more security, training & coaching, certification and projects for more agro-forestry on site. With every sold product they also support the local organization CTPH (Conservation Through Public Health), which is fighting to protect the mountain gorillas, the rainforest and the well-being of the neighboring communities.
As plastic packaging is not yet completely avoidable, Vanilla Dream supports plastic fishers so plastic cant run into the rivers of Asia and won’t end up in the sea.
Vanilla comes from Uganda, also known as “the pearl of Africa”. The climate in the Ruwezori Mountains region in Uganda is so optimal that it is one of the only growing regions in the world with two harvest seasons per year.
